How much does it cost?
Independent is $489/mo per rooftop. Franchise is $1,490/mo per rooftop. Enterprise is custom — from $1,190/rooftop at 5+ rooftops.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setup is included in the subscription. We provision your tenant in under 30 minutes.
Is there a contract?
No. Month-to-month by default. 2 months free with annual prepay if you want it — $407/mo effective on Independent, $1,242/mo on Franchise.
How does the trial work?
14 days, no credit card. Full access to every feature in your tier. We help you import real inventory + customer data so you're testing it for real.
What happens at the end of the trial?
You add a card and pay, or you don't and your data exports to JSON/CSV via Settings → Data → Export.
Migration
Can you migrate me from CDK?
Yes. We export your data using CDK's standard export tools (we don't pay their gateway fees), import into your ADP tenant, and dual-run for the first 90 days.
How long does migration take?
Inventory + active customers: same day. Full deal history (12+ months): typically 3-5 days. Service history: same week.
What if I'm mid-contract with my current vendor?
We dual-run alongside until your contract ends. Use ADP for marketplace + Herald + reporting; keep your DMS for what it does well. Port off when you're free.
Herald
Does Herald sound like a robot?
No. Sub-700ms response, ElevenLabs voice cloning, natural prosody. Most callers don't realize it's AI until later. We disclose it on call start where required by law.
What if Herald says something wrong?
Tools are typed and bounded. It can't commit to a price, an ETA, or a discount that wasn't pre-configured. Hard escalation to human if it doesn't know.
Can I take over a call from Herald?
Yes. One-click transfer with full transcript context. Herald briefs you in 5 seconds.
What's included in the Herald minute cap?
Independent: 750 min/mo. Franchise: 3,000 min/mo per rooftop, poolable across rooftops. Enterprise: pooled committed-volume minutes at negotiated rates. Overage: $0.35/min, billed per second — or prepaid packs (1,000 min for $290; 5,000 min for $1,250).
Security
Where does my data live?
AWS us-east-1 by default; eu-central-1 for EU customers. Per-tenant key envelope for PII. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit.
Are you SOC 2 compliant?
Type II in audit, evidence collection complete. Letter expected Q3 2026. We share the report under NDA today; full letter free to all customers when issued.
Can I get a DPA?
Yes. /legal/dpa is the current version with 9 named sub-processors. Counter-signed copies available on request via legal@.
Who can see my customer data?
You + roles you grant access to. ADP engineers can see structure and aggregate counts but not individual customer records, except via audited break-glass for support.
Product
Is there a mobile app?
PWA today (install from the browser). Native iOS + Android Q3 2026. Both work the same — same auth, same data.
Can multiple rooftops share inventory?
Yes, on the Franchise plan. Internal inventory pool with auto-trade-out workflow. Public marketplace shows only the host store.
How does the marketplace work?
Public, free, unlimited listings on every plan. Auto-syncs from your DMS. URL: autodealerpro.io/marketplace + /dealers/{your-slug} for your branded profile.
Do you have F&I integrations?
RouteOne + Dealertrack Credit in beta. Dealertrack Credit live for select customers. F&I product menus configurable per state.
Onboarding
How long does onboarding take?
Single rooftop: 30 minutes if you have your data ready. Multi-rooftop: about a day per store, primarily to import history.
Do I need IT support?
No. The wizard handles tenant setup, DNS for the marketplace, phone-line forwarding. We'll walk you through it on a 15-min call if you want.
Can my staff use it without training?
Mostly yes. Sales reps and service writers are productive on Day 1. Managers may need 30 minutes for the reports + admin sections. Concierge in-app answers most "how do I" questions instantly.
Developers
Do you have an API?
Yes. REST API with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec at /api/openapi.json. TypeScript SDK generated from the spec; outbound webhooks ship Q3 2026.
Not currently. Multi-tenant SaaS only. Single-tenant deployments for Enterprise on a case-by-case basis.
